I dropped in with My Boo to pick up some chicken.We pulled in drive thru #4 and it took a while to place an order so we called it in.Well finally we got drive thru service and had no problem having our order brought to our car even tho we called it in!!Chicken was hot tasty and hot dogs were good as well.Thumbs up and we definitely will be back!!

Step back into a retro feel when you enter this diner like place! We enjoyed burgers and a steak sandwich. The burgers were super tasty and seemed fresh. The ribeye sandwich was not what I was expecting. It was one thin sliced piece of beef with a piece of American cheese on 2 slices of white bread. The onion rings were super crispy and on point! Worth a visit to see the feel of stepping back into a nostalgic eatery!

First time here and we stopped by while passing through. The onion rings had no flavor and were like six rings and the Philly was ok. Cute spot and it stayed busy. I think maybe a bit more seasoning would not hurt. The lady at the front very helpful but food was very bland.

Have eaten there many time but this last time was disappointing. Ordered onion rings instead of fries. They gave me fries and when asked to correct it made me feel like it was my fault. Burger was dry , nothing like normal. I always enjoy the food there might have just been an off day, but definitely need to work on the rude service.

We used to love to eat here; however, given the price compared to quality, we won't be back anytime soon. Our food sat in the window because the wrong number was called, one person's food was wrong, they charge for dressing when a salad is part of your meal and you only get 1 refill for tea. There are too many changes over the years for us. We don't plan to be back. Those working the registers were super nice and helpful, though. Otherwise, the ratings would be lower.

Wanted to try this place on my drives to Myrtle Beach and it did not disappoint. The young man who took my order highly recommend the cheeseburger or the chicken. I chose chicken and decided on onion rings for my side. Orings was a perfect side. Chicken was very tasty.

When we travel we like to try local restaurants. Thanks to GPS and restaurants on the route we found The Drive In. Unique concept for ordering. We waited for our number to be called. Our number was 730. When they got to 742 we decided to ask about our order. Didn't take but just a minute afterwards. My wife had the fried chicken. Daughter had the fried chicken sandwich, niece had the chicken tenders and I had the ribeye steak sandwich. Everyone loved their food. Will definitely go back. Gave a 4 star because of the wait. Everything else was 5 star. Give it a shot when you are in the Florence, SC area.

I generally would say the food is good but, portions have gotten really small. I hope this will get back to normal soon. My husband and normally share a dinner, not anymore.

When I first came there, initially it was packed, I ordered my food online and along with myself there were a lot of people waiting. Overall i'd said I waited like 15 minutes and when I came to them, they got everything straight. The food was beyond amazing, i'm definitely going to be coming back often.

What I absolutely love about this place is the option to order from the single bay drive thru. They offer the feel of personal service. The menu is versatile, from burgers to gyros to yummy, crispy salads. Dining in has great seating, large enough to bring my entire family and more.

The food I purchased so far has been delicious. Lets start with chicken, next the tender pork chops and the hamburger steak smothered in gravy onions and bell peppers was surprisingly the best real hamburger steak I've had in a long time. It didn't taste like box patty meat. Don't forget to try the Clarinet (non-alcoholic drink). House dressing is good too. Oh yeah, the service was also good...LOL

The burgers were not good at all. Low quality frozen patties. Onion rings were way overcooked. Fries were good. Gizzards were good, but will not go again. On a positive note, the entire staff I interacted with were very nice.

I use to really love this place. But when you get some food to go, please check everything before you leave. If they mess up your order they will give you attitude. Hell it is their fault not yours. And I’m talking about management that will give you the attitude. Other than that, the food is good.

The food was delicious! All prepared fresh so it might take a few minutes longer than fast food but totally worth the wait. The fried chicken sandwich was yum-light breading, lettuce tomato and just the right amount of mayo. Not greasy at all. Burgers got a thumbs up from the kids. Restaurant and bathrooms were clean and the staff was friendly.

I don't just love this place...I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! If you have never eaten here and had a Bacon Cheeseburger and Onion Rings...then you haven't LIVED yet! It makes my mouth water just THINKING about it. There are sooo many choices...and I mean GOOOOD choices...to choose from, but I'm a burger and onion rings kinda girl when it comes to The Drive In! Try it, if you're ever in Florence, because I'm telling you that it's worth the trip!!!

Im from Florence SC but now I live in Charleston SC but every time I go to Florence I stopped there to eat before I get back on the road to go to Charleston or I will go there and order food to bring back home to Charleston.

It was pretty good. Super busy during lightning storm. Closest place to eat near candlewood suites. You can walk there and also to the Harley dealer. Decent food, decent price. Didn't overeat that time....

This is a restaurant I love visiting. Food is great. Only complaint I have from this visit is the 3 individuals behind me and the family. Cursing and loud talking. I have 2 young girls. Nobody has time for that. But I know we can't control other people but you get 5 stars for business.

The food would taste it okay but was quite greasy. The service was really good the staff was very nice. It was quite busy in there as this is a very popular place. We will probably go back and get slaw. We have the chicken tenders and a flounder shrimp combo. The Flounder was very good and delicate. The breading was very well flavored that's were the shrimp. I would recommend this place if you're not trying to watch your figure otherwise just have the salad.

We wanted a different type of setting for our meal, and why not an old style drive in? The food was really good and we were pleasantly impressed when we got the bill. The only thing that I would recommend for them, is to install the card readers on the posts outside. On the flip side, you don't have to worry about someone skimming you card. Overall, great place to eat, and we will be returning soon!

Great food but takes a while to get it on account of being so packed every time I go. Barely any room in front of counter on account of people waiting to order or waiting on they're food to be ready. Food makes it worth it though in a way I guess..

At first I thought prices were a little high then when I saw how big the servings were I changed my mind. Chicken was fresh plenty of food. In fact I could of ordered 2 piece instead of three. There was so much and all was fresh. The workers every time I have went there are so nice and friendly it just makes you want to come back.

Great family restaurant, great food and service! The grilled chicken dinners and onion rings are my favorite! Right across the street from the Performing Arts Center, The Drive In is in the center of downtown Florence.

VERY POPULAR in this area. I have eaten here since I was a child (over 50 years). They specialize in fried chicken. It is the best. There is always a big lunch crowd, but things move quickly and somehow there always seem to be an empty table just as you need it.
